2. Ir. Joko Supriyono, Direktur PT. Astra Agro Lestari Tbk.
An Indonesian citizen. He has been the Company's Director since May 2007. 
He was Deputy Director of Plantations and Mills Operation of the Company since 2005 to May 2007. 
He had served as Area Director of the Company from 2002 to 2005. 
He was Division Head of Human Resources of the Company from 2000 to 2002.
In 1999 - 2000 he appointed as Personnel Department Head of the Company after previously served as Training & Recruitment Department Head of the Company since 1996 to 1997. 
He joined the Company in 1995 as Training Department staff. 
He was Instructor of Quality Management of PT Wahana Kendali Mutu from 1994 to 1995. 
He was Head of Afdeling of PT Perkebunan Nusantara II, Medan in 1986 - 1993. 
He graduated from Gajahmada University, Yogyakarta, majoring in Agriculture.

Hadirnya para pembicara berkompeten akan bermanfaat bagi para peserta untuk lebih mengenal limbah kimia itu sendiri, mulai dari yang masih berwujud bahan dan penglahannya sampai pada limbah itu sendiri dan upaya pengelolaannya.

Apabila kita kurang bijak dalam menangani limbah, maka bukan hanya diri kita sendiri yang dirugikan namun banyak orang yang akan dirugikan. Dengan demikian sebagai Negara yang berkembang, Negara Indonesia diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan generasi-generasi yang peduli terhadap lingkungan.

A Living Environment for A Living Generation

Saat ini, lingkungan khususnya di sekitar kita sedang mengalami masa-masa sulit, seperti permasalahan limbah yang ada di sekitar kita. Di industri bahkan di kehidupan kita sehari-hari pun kita pasti akan menemukan dan menghasilkan sesuatu yang bernama limbah tersebut. Penanganan dan pengolahan adalah kunci mutlak untuk menyelesaikan masalah lingkungan.

Dari pemikiran tersebut, Keluarga Mahasiswa Kimia FMIPA UGM ingin berkontribusi dengan mengadakan seminar nasional kimia yang rutin diadakan sebagai wadah penyebaran informasi. Kali ini tema yang diangkat adalah “A Living Environment for A Living Generation”.
